Multi Customer

Many customers wish to benefit from our scale and infrastructure as well as our approach to individual customer management. We achieve the best combination here through our Multi-Customer sites where we develop solutions around individual customers that gain cost synergies and flexibility by being part of a multi-user environment.

 

Shared Costs
With a multi-customer solution all the site infrastructure and IT costs can be shared pro rata across the customer base at the site. This mitigates the risks of having a large fixed cost base, making cost per unit more controlled and more dependent on customer demand. 

Order and distribution consolidation can also take place from these sites providing a more economical cost to serve and reducing road miles due to improved drop densities. This is effective when you need to serve customers in a certain geographical area by a given time constraint.

Shared Labour
When labour resource needs to be concentrated into a narrow time window, for picking and despatch it can be re-allocated from other contracts reducing the need for expensive overtime or temporary labour payments. One particular customer requires all loads are picked and despatched in a two hour window.
